$5000 dollar fine for not wanting to inhale the police's Chemical weapons, disgusting! we do not live in capitalism but rather a comie-fascistic oligarchical technocracy. And despite the media's omissions The Protests Are NOT just About Tuition!

plan north, natural gas fracking, healthcare tax, EI changes, Austerity, Corporate Welfare, Corruption, Breach of Trust & other criminality & etc, et cetera.

I disagree.

If they don't want to be tear gased, stay home and don't be lighting cars on fire.

My .02 cents

what happens if you are at a protest and you're not doing anything wrong, but 1 or 2 individuals go rogue and damage stuff. Should you then have to suffer tear gas/beating?

Yup. Don't be protesting somewhere / associate with destructive people.

would it matter to any of you's if i said: time & time again its been shown thats its undercover police agents that initially stir up or break things
- thus allowing police to declare the protest illegal. thereby not ever really allowing any protests..

read:

Quote:
Montreal’s Bill 78 arrived on the same day as Russia’s anti-protest bill was introduced.

In order to discredit the massive demonstrations over the weekend, the usual “black-clad” suspects emerged and engaged in violence with police.
“Black-clad protesters were seen ripping large pieces of cement out of the roadway and throwing them at police,” the Montreal Gazette reported on Sunday. Police then used percussion bombs and CS gas against the protesters.

Last year it was discovered that agents provocateurs posing as black-clad anarchists gave police an excuse to engage in violence against non-violent protesters during the 2010 G20 held in Toronto.

According to G8/G20 summit documents, the RCMP dispatched agents to infiltrate the ranks of anti-war, anti-globalization and anarchist groups. In 2007, Canadian cops were caught red-handed posing as anarchists during a North American Union summit in Montebello, Quebec.

Montreal’s legislation aimed at eliminating protest is only the latest example of how far the state will go when the people challenge its authority. Over the weekend, the Montreal police gave a glimpse of things to come if citizens continue to resist the authority of the state – CS gas and percussion bombs.

If the people persist and violate the law, the next step will be introduced – rubber bullets, which ultimately leads to live ammo, as it did at Kent State and Jackson State University in 1970.

what a subversion of peoples rights & the rule of law. seems a breach a trust & dishonoring of their oathes. its treasonous sedition - imo.

I mean is it not the hallmark of a police state, having the citizens police forces & spy agencies infiltrate & dissrupt perfectly reasonable/legal movements & often rev up or train & supply the violent /Radical fringe movements, so cops can gleafully split honest non criminal peoples faces open with their billy clubs

G20 Report Says "Civil Rights Violated! People Illegally Detained! Police Used Excessive Force!"
