I re-did some of the wiring along with new Boston Acoustic SC50's all around, I kept the factory amp however and I just have to say the sound difference is amazing! all its lacking now is a subwoofer set up which I'll probably put in over the weekend.
There were few things I re-did this past weekend, the first thing was GPS receiver, some have said they get great reception under the dash, but I couldn't even get one satellite when checking signal, I did notice if I place it on the driver's side under the windshield, I suddenly get 7-8 at all times, this definitely took some trial and errors, the android side of things were bit pain during set up, if you are tethering off your phone, some of the updates can add up to be close to 500-600mb, and since most of us are with Rogers, it sucks, so I had to ghetto-rigged antenna amplifier with tin foils for the router at home to get a strong signal to the car to do all the updates, which works amazing now, if you love your android phone, you'll love this unit, the bluetooth works very well too.
There's an i-bus control box that I didn't install last time cause I couldn't figure out what it does, since there was no explanation in the manual, Dynavin really needs to work on that, but Jeff @ http://jandtdistributing.com
has been super quick to explain, this I give it to him, his customer service has been awesome, explain to me all the little details that dynavin should've filled up in the manual, with the i-bus control box you get OBC readings & steering wheel control.
Overall, I love this head unit to pieces, granted there are few things I wish was different, but for what it can do, I'm not gonna complaint.
