Oh ok, if you drop that pipe down along the bottom of the rad between the rad and the motor that would work for sure since you don't have PS or AC. I was picturing having to run both across the front of the car, and I know from when I did my turbo car that you can squeeze a 2.5" IC pipe below the head lights, but anything bigger than that requires a bit more creativity.

On the same page now

FINALLY I have finished my supercharger project.
Today I installed the 30# red Bosch injectors... took a good hour but all went well.

Picture of the injectors compared to the old 14# ones...

Lots of rags....

Spent a good hour tuning to get the idle corrected and a bit of driving around hitting full boost of 5PSI at 11-12AFR running 26 degree of timing...

Final pictures of the engine bay...looks better in person..almost looks factory

Videos coming and more tuning (I may go to a dyno to tune the timing..) so far am very happy everything is holding up really well..

Initial reaction..... Damn I love boost!! 5PSI right a 2K rpm

6 months of work and patience... 1000$ and part 1 is DONE!!

I will start Part 2 once I move to Quebec in 2 months

Alright, you have me sold on this idea now. Why M62 blower instead of M90 or M60? Space? Availability?

Hey we need more SC E30 out there

Well i went with the M62 because I found a deal on a remanufactured unit from a local guy (the charger is brand new from a cobalt ss)

I wasnt going for ultimate power of over 5-6PSI on the blower anyways (because am going twincharge) but if you go M90 and use the same setup crank and sc pulley as mine you can boost up to 8-9 psi.

I got a spare M90 I bought (the best unit small size and already has output pipe ) from a 3.8 SC thunderbird that I could sell for really cheap 200$ if you are anybody is interested..

So with the supercharge side done...of my Twincharge project.

I found this diagram that fully explains what my setup will look at the end.. I will be able to run a very big turbo as the charger will feed it and it wont have to spool anymore.(taking away lag)

Stay tuned..

Except that you won't have an electromagnetic clutch for the SC pulley.

Your set-up turned out super clean man. Kudos.

thanks man

Yeap no electo clutch... it will be compounded boost and no redirection. I will push the War chip and 30# injectors to the max but I have to prepare to go MS and go with 42# injectors minimum I think when I finish the whole project..

also in the backburner is a M30 into another E30 for my GF.... can you believe I will have to part out my 89 535i with 160 000KM Euro version because it wont pass Quebec safety... or I would have to sell it in Ontario...its already etested and I can get it safety but am running out of time to sell it..... anyways....

Well after having some serious fun driving it for a few weeks I decided I was ready to go do a Quebec safety, boy was I wrong. My car was labeled a Race car so it could not be safety.

After letting my Girlfriend drive my finally tuned and bug free Supercharged E30 she comes back very impressed by the performance (and am only boosting 4.5PSI) but now 2 major problems I need to action. The new tires don't work very well with Manual steering and the extra 50HP doesn't work well with manual brakes. hence now I understand why my car did not safety.

So 2 new projects on the table:

1) Install power brakes: This is major work as I now have to redo all the Supercharger extremely tight intake setup, air filter assembly, remove MC and reinstall, rework brake pedal so I got lots of work ahead here. (got 3" flexible piping coming to help me do this)

2) Power steering: This one here is Major as well as I don't have room for another pulley so option is called Electric hydraulic power steering (2 pump options 1 from a 91 MR2 and the other a all in one reservoir/pump from a europeen truck. Both will be custom setups and will require custom hydraulic lines made and wiring.

and last but not least the best part, I located a performance shop that will be able to custom built me a 7"diameter - 6 Rib crank pulley (copying the M50 crank I already have) so I can raise the boost to 8-9PSI

With all these done I will try my luck again at safety and this will also mark the end of the Supercharger setup so I will move to the Turbo side this winter.

Well I think Rudy (Craz Azn) is looking for an e34 that's straight and rust free, if yours fits that criteria you should give him a shout, beats parting it out

Have you looked at these: http://www.stewartcomponents.net/Mer...Code=ElectPump ?

8 Legs uses them on their race cars... pricey, but could be a good solution.

Sweet pump, but its only for moving water, not moving power steering oil
