Heh track cars gotta look good too!! But nah man I'm focusing on the DD portion of the car this year so make sure everything is functioning correctly and get everything looking good, and do what I can performance wise this year and through the winter to be fully ready for next year. I'm just taking my time because performance parts are the most expensive part and I want to make sure I do as much research and planning with it before jumping into it blindly because I do that a lot. Thanks for the input though

Got a nice rainy day off so I figured id post up my progress.

I havent posted pictures up of the the new body kit yet so here they are along with fresh window tint, and brand new rims and tires.

I've had all the motor problems fixed so no more check engine light, unfortunately though my headlight control module decided to sh*t the bed on me 2 weeks ago and that ran me a solid 800$, also replaced my front pads/rotors, along with something else that I already forgot about.

Ive run out of money for this season and I never got around to getting heavy into the performance stuff but i have decided im going to go with PSS9/10 suspension, Spec racing clutch with LW alum fly. replace all the bushings to tighten everything up. Still unsure of what type of supercharger I should go with. and i would really like to have the motor rebuilt with higher end performance parts but i havent done any research on that yet.

I hope you guys are like this thread, and i will keep updating as i purchase/get new parts for next year!

if you have any suggestions as to what i should do/ look into please let me know!

thanks,

Nick

Approx how many hours of shop labor is the realigning of the shifter linkage? Mine gets through gears pretty rough too and I hate the way it shifts. Hopefully after getting this done it shifts better or else it might be a tranny problem

Have you been to the track?
It sounds like you need to NOT dump money in this car and take it to the track as it sits.
From the questions you're asking, it also sounds like you need to focus on YOUR driving abilities, not the cars.
Don't boost this car, as it makes it unreliable.
Don't dump money into it, because you'll learn the car's limits sooner\better, once you know them, upgrade stuff as you go along.
