New guy on the block with a 328is

Hi guys,

New member here. Just wanted to say hello and just mention this board is awesome. I have a 96 328is (picture below). I have replaced the M5 rims with the M parallel rims this year. I had the lip polished. Looks really good !!! I am waxing the car this weekend so as soon as I take a picture I will post it. This year I am concentrating on performance. New air intake, intake plenum, throttle body, stage 2 sach clutch, computer chip and exhaust. Hopefully I should be looking close to M3 hp numbers if not more. Next year I am going full out on suspension. Glad to be aboard

hello, and welcome, nice ride, i don't think we have red e36 here.

P.S. it will take more than just chip, exhaust, cai and TB to come close to m3 numbers.

Well with those performance mods I will be happy. So long as I can hold my own. At least I should be able to take on 330 hopefully.

Good to see another 328is on the boards. Sickfinga is right, you need a lot more than that for M3 numbers, I would go with a differential, fan delete, pullies, and cams for closer numbers. Plus you cant chip a 328, they dont have chips to replace, you need to "shark Inject" the thing.
