This is a Status Gruppe Tuning (vendor from m3 forum) header and section 1. Very well constructed pieces and reasonable prices too.

These are going on my m3 and mated to a stock section 2 and active autowerke section 3. I held out on section 2 for now as the car is going to be quite loud I'm sure. Also most of m3 forum seems to agree that oem section 2 usually makes the best power. And yup I will be running a catless set up

Hoping to start this around 3 or 4 this afternoon. I'm hoping since my car isn't winter driven and relatively low miles that it won't give me any problems. Hoping for 6 hours start to finish, although I'm going to have a hoist and plenty of tools at my disposal so I might be able to get done quicker. Going to try and post a before and after sound clip, but if not, you'll hear me comin when I show up and the fender roll off!

Naw not really concerned. I barely drive it anyways. I always ran catless with my subie's, even had cops look underneath it and they always think resonators are cats. I might look in to having some race cats welded in eventually.

I think he said he's keeping the section 2 stock which has the (visible) cats.

edit: apparently I'm wrong lol.

Catalytics on the e46 M are part of the header assembly. Most people move them downstream into the section 1 if they decide to keep them. My section one has 2 resonators in it where the cats would end up if I kept them.
