i had sprayed them with rockerguard cause the original? rockerguard type coating was peeling off, the underbody is solid

and yes, im thinkin the plate needs to go back or no plate at all, i do have a roof basket i was gonna see how it looks and maybe put the plate on there

Well this morning i went to look out my kitchen window at my e30 and think to myself what a beautiful creation i have sitting in my driveway, and as i got to the window i noticed a wonderful rainbow trailing down the dw Many thoughts going through my head, as i didnt want to go outside as it was hailing (go figure) i figured it was either brake fluid, fuel, coolant, not once did it cross my mind that it could have been oil, silly me. Upon further inspection i found that the oil pan had a small crack, so due to low funds i went out and got jb weld as a temporary fix, reminder: THIS IS A TEMPORARY FIX, i will be replacing the oil pan or getting it welded and a skidplate made for it to reduce future oil pan bs.

Finished product! let this cure for 24 hours and then replace oil and shall be good as new! (hopefully)

Ahahaha. I was just going chime in to say "put the plate where the **** you want" but I can see you're way ahead of me. BMW guys can be the worst fanboys sometimes, I think we all appreciate the great engineering that created these cars, but people seem to forget that when you are dealing with a <$1k car not everything has to be kept as God, er, the factory made it. Have fun...

haha yea, the plate scraped alot when it hanging down like that, everything ive read in the law enforcement shit or whatever you call it does not state that your plate HAS to be on your front bumper, it has to be visible to the officer passing by, windshield is illegal in that case.

But for the time being its gonna look pretty ratty while i work on it, id like to get everything mechanically fit ( new brakes, all fluids etc ) then i will work on cosmetic
