Manual Tranny Fluid ATF?
Does our manual tranny fluid uses ATF fluid Dextron 3 or its somethin else?

Should be dexron 3, i just get mine from the dealer!
Just says ATF on it.... that i remember at least!

yea but u have an e36 wat about the e30? its bugs my mind cause all the BMW's ive own i alway put in Manual transmission fluid. i called the dealer to get pricin on some and they r tellin me it uses ATF fluid.

Just use your favorite ATF. Getrag's arent' finiky.

For the diff I just used castrol 80W90 and friction modifier. Just over $24 with tax for it all.

yes i can. they 16.88 a liter. ill be using lucas synthtic stuff in my diff this week.

i used redline atf. i think it was 75w90 or something along those lines.

Nope, just pour quality conventional ATF. Keep in mind that my Getrag 260 has over half a million kms on it, and it still shifts smooth as butter.

i thought the bently says 90 wt. and in the winter you can go down to like engine oil, depending on how cold it is. anyone check the bentley?
