E36 instrument cluster lnib

I have a Canadian/metric guage cluster, for my E36, that I don't need. I have the receipt from BMW Autohaus, this was $810 plus tax in Dec.2002. BMW shipping box included.

$200 obo. Upon installation the odo should read just over 68k. I honestly don't know if the cluster is coded to the car, or how someone would go about installing it. Sold as is and buyer assumes all responsibility for the legalities.

Can The mileage be adjusted by a mechanic?

There's a series of small dials on the back, so I would say yes...probably. But it must have some tamper-proof stuff built in. A BMW dealer would be the best bet, I think.
