I have a rebuilt head for an m20... so thats a good start if you're interested. 250$

yeah I've decided to stick with an m20, I would love a swap in the future but for now i think just sticking with the m20 is the best bet. I'll either be sending mine for a rebuild or piecing one together. I took a look at the valve train yesterday and it looks to be in okay shape a lot of the seals will need to be replaced though. I'm hearing a couple knocks here and there and the idle is just terrible. Maybe piecing one together might be easier and less expenssive.

Just find an m20 with 100-150k, change the timing belt and water pump, swap it in and you will be good for another 150k with normal preventative maintenance. Shoot boxer2 a pm, he usually has a few m20's kicking around.
