Haven't test driven them yet but they are really flat formed on the 3 series. Which the exhaust muffler shows awkwardly from the rear bottom. Does not fit on me or the adrenaline just drops.

We enjoy our 2013 xDrive35i very much. Hot-rod of the X models, as it's the lightest one with the N55 engine...blows the doors off the X3, X5, X6s out there.

We replaced a 2009 135i Coupe with it, and as such, it was a nearly perfect match, as the cockpit layout is nearly the same.

Roof rack, bumper-mounted bike-rack, and it'll take us anywhere we want. We're planning a drive from Edmonton to Inuvik either this coming fall or 2016, and it'll do nicely for that (need to retrofit the non-M-Sport mud guard to our M-Sport model first).

Any common issues you've heard that I should look out for?

Nope... We've had ours for about 14mths, and despite losing the windshield to a crack, haven't had any issues. I know a few people with the xDrive28i version (both prior to and post the introduction of the Start/Stop) and similar stories of no issues.

Are you thinking of the 2.0L or the 3.0L?
