WTB: Z3 Steering Rack

I am looking to buy a Z3 steering rack.

I would prefer one that is rebuilt but doesn't have to be.

Must be 2.7 turns lock to lock.

Let me know if you have one for sale or know where I can get one.

Thanks

Be cautious with rackdoctor. Their site is very vague, so there is no guarantee that you get the Z3 1.9L rack that you're after.

I was doing some research over the winter, the best i found was $283 + $150 core.

I think all Z3 racks other then an M Roadster and M Coupe are 2.7 turns lock to lock but I could be wrong.

Where did you find that price?

The price was from BluntTech

I could very well be wrong about the different racks, but I was under the impression that only the 1.9L has the shorter rack.

I have one pulled from my brother's Z3 with less than 100,000km on it... Was going to save it as a backup (already have one in my E36) but PM me what you think it's worth.

the ratio is whats important. not the lock to lock.

keep in mind that z4 racks work(the fastest ratio) as well as any e46 rack

I am not really looking for a used rack because from my experience cheaper (used) is always more expensive.

It doesn't really sound like you are looking to get rid of it and probably wouldn't be selling it for cheap anyways.

If you want to let me know how much you are after then I can let you know.
