Just a thought

I've in the E30 game for a while now and even though I love the car, I think I want to move onto something a bit more unique. There has been a great deal of time, effort and money put into this car over the past few years. What I'm wondering is, what price point would seem reasonable for this car?

Parts changed/mods done to the car:

- 92 M50NV swap (200,xxxkm on motor) w/ getrag 260 and shaved flywheel(5mm)
- New clutch w/ approx 4000km on the clutch
- 17x7 fr and 17x9 rear staggerd ESM 003 rims painted gunmetal
- 215/40 fr and 235/40 rear Kuhmo Ecsta tires w/ lots of tread(70%)
- Interior changed from a ratty houndstooth cloth to a perforated vinyl sport interior (seats)
- 88+ bumper conversion w/ front IS lip and rear fibreglass "Eurostyle" apron
- Euro Ellipsoids w/lamin-x smoked lens covers and 4300k HID's
-Smoked tails and side markers
-Apex 60mm drop springs w/ tokico blue(HP) shocks
-Pioneer 5900 headunit, Cerwin Vega DVC 12" sub in ported box
- 2-1 2.5" exhaust header-back with dual tip stainless muffler
- Mazda RX-7 front brake conversion w/ Hawk HPS pads
- All stainless braided flexible brake lines
- New gas tank installed
-New fuel pump installed
-New rear brakes
- Fully painted Volkwagen "double yellow"
- Shadowlined chrome trim

Other parts have also been changed just can't think of them at the moment. Sure it will come to me at some point.

Tell me what you think?

Thanks

Matt

Hmmm...well probably nothing. I'd part it out.

Hey, since you're parting out that yellow car, want to sell me your rear valance?

No, I'm kidding (or am I?), I'd probably look at around $5000. E30s are hit and miss though, I've seen rust buckets that sell for $2500 and mint American cars with M3 Cardinal interiors go for $300. (those are my two cars).

I like it! People looking for swapped cars usually want a bit more, but it would be perfect to put another 24v in. Any more pix? Engine bay/underbody? Any accidents? I would shoot for 5k as well, maybe more if you're lucky

Glws!

Underbody is actually rust free. That engine will be a 3.0L soon enough

Lol well if it has an s50 or something in it it's a different story -- why would you swap if you're planning to sell?

You are probably right. Is it worth the quick buck? Or just keep it and enjoy it to the end.

Has nothing to do with the money. I just want to build something else ground up

exactly... as I said I am in the same boat. I will still have food on the table if i dont sell my car, I wont lose my house if I keep it, but I wanted to move on to something more unique. I was thinking of doing an E21 group 5 track car... but I am reluctant to quit on the e30...

I know how you feel regarding the build as well. to me half the fun is building the other half is driving... I've pretty much decided to keep, I have invested too much to walk away
