I thought it was definitly worth a theater visit. Yes the acting sucked but the action sequences were ridiculous!!
What was cool about this is they literally filmed real training scenarios with real bullets and then for extra measure they also put a bunch of camera's on top of the real operator's head's. I also like that they did'nt do anything to make it any more exciting (like have a guy throw knives to take out someone silently etc). Also they did'nt try and make these guys out to be superman but instead showed how they will use their training and support to get the clear advantage and then be very ruthless.
IMO I've never seen anything else like it, not sure if I would say it's worth a second viewing but if you're an action fan you have to see it . As much as black hawk down changed the genre this is going to do the same IMO
I'm convince that sirex is one of the mods' alter ego to troll with others, there's no way he can be a real person that doesn't own a BMW and comes on max only to post in off topic.
On a side note, we should make a max guys only for movies like this, the missy doesn't want to watch any sort of military movies with me and I refuse to go to theaters by myself.
