I thought it was pretty ridiculous how they let people so close to the Zonda. A lot of people were touching it and there is the opportunity for it to get damaged. When the kid dropped his iPhone did it scratch or dent the car? I doubt he was the first and last one to do something like that.

Also the Bugatti people were very snobby (as to be expected I guess).
Surprisingly I didn't see the phone do any damage BUT it appears asthough the car had plenty of "scuffs" already. It is clear a tracked car or a often touched car lol The carbon seemed to be very strong in terms of someone cracking it via a dropped phone. But yes, lots of DNA on that car.

Meanwhile on the main level there were 20 young guys around a new honda with rims and speakers lol

I had a lot of fun with people, would get in a car and smile, ask where we were going, how long till we get there. I had one older guy look at me and say "no no no I no go with you anywhere" lol

Kept cheering for someone to go off road on the mercedes driving simulation exhibit, no luck.

By scuffs do you mean swirl marks and stuff like that? Because when I went I did see a lot of that on the car. It's been tracked a few times already but my guess is the scuffs and swirls came from improper washing and constantly wiping the thing down. I think all it needs is a good detailing.

You are probably right, not all track marks for sure, in fact more from washing or rubbing. I am just curious if a scuff appears as a swirling look on CF? Not a scratch of dent but rather a scuff with a swirl affect...trying to phrase this right lol

Yes I believe that swirls appear to look more scuff like on lacquered carbon fiber. As if someone put some very fine grit sandpaper against it. Here is a carbon fiber Veyron SuperSport that has swirls that describe what you are talking about.

Yes, very similar. These pics don't show exactly what it was like but if you are directly over top of the "scuff" it has a cludy appearence so you know it was hit but it didn't actually affect the CF..almost like a surface mark that isn't totally tangable.
