yeah but we are trying to balance the weight of the car at the same time...i mean a v8 in a miata is a bit heavy...no?!?
it is all about power to weight ratio...u can have a 1000hp big rig and 1 man powered bicycle, and i am sure the man powered bicycle would win 0-60...hahaha
maybe a bit exaggerated but u know what i am saying....

You can have an aluminum block v8 (Z06) which is usually lighter than smaller displacement iron motors.

but isn't the point of a BMW, M POWER?
sure a s2k engine can do 240, but dont u want reliable bimmer parts?
if u think i'm an idiot for thinking M power is all that, then so be it, but for those who know my spec, know where i be coming from.
if u want my spec, ask and ill post

BWAHAHaha I know nothing about bimmers except for E34's
All I DO know about that engine is that it is hella expensive to maintain and costs about a bajillion dollars to cram into an E34.
