2004 330i hard start hesitation

Hello ,

I have a hard start issue on 2004 330i. it will finally start after hitting the gas pedal. then the idle is sporadic unitl I hit the pedal again. then it seems fine. I also get hesitation while accelrating. No warnig lights are coming on the dash. Anyone have any opinions ? could this be the Vanos? or cam sensor?

Could be CCV/oil seperator issue due to cold weather. Check under your oil cap for yellow sludge or water drops. Also check for oil leakage from your valve cover. Running your engine hard for an hour may help burn off water/ice.

Check your plugs and coils...your car sounds like it's misfiring...
