I've got an M30 AFM that idles at 650 on 19lbers and 89 oct chip. I tuned the AFM myself. Remember that fuel mix is calculated on air measurement, if you are idling at 3000, you must be getting a lot of air. You sure there's no problem with your TB or cable? 3000 doesnt seem sustainable if your TB is closed and its just your ICV putting in air.

It might be possible. I was able to get my car to idle at 2000rpm (with my MS unit) for break-in by just changing the idle settings in Tunerstudio.

However for a stock DME with just a chip in it that is not normal. I'd suspect a vac leak, when you swapped injectors you might have bumped one of the connectors or hoses post throttle plate on the throttle body, or one of the vac lines.
