Free mp4 to ps3 converter

Does anyone know where I can download a free mp4 to ps3 converter and keep the 1080p quality.

All the free ones I find only allow me to convert 5minutes of 1080p quality then want me to buy it ... Or the free ones only allow me to fully convert them to 480p

I'd use Handbrake - it's free, open source and works well for converting video. You can also get "device profiles" which will convert video to work with specific devices. Check it out here:

Are you using it to watch movies on your TV?

I just use PS3 media server - download on your laptop and it connects with your PS3 to stream audio and video, works like a charm.

Nope - I don't actually own a PS3 (or any game consoles), although I do stream content to my TV with a second home theatre PC that's running XBMC ( I've heard the PS3 works well, although I wanted a little more flexibility in my streamer - which is why I went with a full blown PC.
