You're still looking for an engine? I figured you would have found one by now.
I know someone in town with a m20. I can find out what he's doing with it (he's been back and forth as to whether he's keeping it or selling it) but it's a bit far from where you are!
If you want to get rid of it i'll take it with the blown engine...not worth much with a blown engine...$100?

BigD, that looks like a monster build, wicked!

I'm not doing much, installing aluminum rad, new sways, treehouse lollipops and building a electronic boost controller to work in closed loop with megasquirt. But all that will wait until March when the garage is usable. Right now I have the e30, two motorbikes, two garbage pails, a BBQ, workbench, various parts (transmission, etc) toolboxes, welder with gas and still have enough room to park the Mini Cooper. In a city-sized two car garage.

Thanks man, should be interesting if it ever comes together. Been so long since I first pulled the motor to get started, and so many changes snowballed, that it's like a myth now. I already managed to get bored with it's initial theoretical power while racing it in my mind, and upgraded the turbo before ever trying the first one.

I spent the past couple months collecting all the pieces for my S54 swap. Just need 2 more things and its ready to go! Unfortunately it won't be swapped in until April I'm hoping to have it ready in time for the opening cruise. BigD I can't wait to see that E30 in action. I'm planning on putting my S52 into the E30 and maybe boosting it.

The trick has been finding a good one. Many around, but with missing critical parts, or unknown entity, or really really high mileage like 400+km. In regards to my car anyone who wants it with a blown engine the bidding starts at $3000 and up.......otherwise I'm putting a good engine in it the second I find one and it will be sold cert and e-tested with everything working and little rust around the sunroof, that's it! And it will be on the mkt for a lot more than 3g's. If I don't get what I want for it, then I keep. Win win for me.

I think the e36 and e46 pics should be swapped...lol. the e46 is actually rather good car in comparison. e46 is starting look a bit haggered..

Geo metro with an '02 R1 engine running on megasquirt mounted in the middle, swift front end mounted in the rear complete with strut conversion instead of original shock/spring set-up.2 diffs customized with sealed bearings and sprockets machined to bolt in place of the ring gear.Jackshaft from the counter sprocket location with a dual sprocket,6 tensioners to hopefully control the chains.
Huge project I started at the end of October, weather permitting going to race it next weekend.
