What are you working on this winter?

Not much action in the e30 forum these days. I know you guys are all working dilligently on your rides. Share some pictures!

In my case I'm getting ready for next season... I had a new window sewn in, put the car in storage, said "I'll just remove the front lip to fix some curb damage" and then... well I just couldn't help myself.

What am I getting myself into???

Wish me luck!

Beer and Penetrating Oil... lethal combination....

Engine's almost ready for chargepipe/exhaust fab:

Just finishing up the oil and fuel plumbing, then just button up the wiring:

Going to start some body surgery shortly so it's again not an open-wheel car

Then once it runs and drives, get started on the traction control:

Nice looking build. I have a set of m3 quarters and fenders that would solve your rear tire fitment issue.

These are the DTM Fibreworks ones, 2" wider on each quarter than the stock m3. Maybe?

Car is in storage so I'm working on collecting the rest of my parts to "finish" (read: get to the starting point, literally) the project.

The mountain of parts grows weekly.

If I was keeping the car I would go BIG 24 valve, but I've decided I want to go fast, and there's just no cheap way of making an e30 fast around a road course. So to the E36 I will go, but will put an new engine in my car then post for sale, soon afterwards...... I would like to keep it, but like many I can't justify having 4 cars, it will be hard enough having 3 like i do now.....Who knows, maybe the vw will go too?

Take care of some major rust issues and finally make it out to a meet and feel good inside. get a good stance on some 15'-16' rare rims, nice kit...you know the typical thing

Oh!, once the soft top is replaced i will try putting a sunroof built into a hard top. have not seen that yet. ill post pics hopefully sometime tom on rusty car.
