There is one hour practice time it looks like.......Im kinda interested, mostly cause I havent really had a chance of using my winter tires sideways at all this season! Anyone know of any other winter track events this year?
I wouldn't pay $90 for that but it still looks like fun! We haven't had enough snow here in Kingston to do much of that on the roads....not that I do because that's illegal...
WOW that looked like a poor event, thats not winter performance driving or winter autocross, thats off roading, or rally driving. I would be asking for a refund plus my expenses if I showed up to an event like that.

I'm not entirely sure those videos show the full course........i wasn't there, so i dont know for sure.
I'm not defending them, just saying don't be so quick to judge.

not being quick to judge, as others have said it b4 me.
the event was advertised as a winter autocross. in seeing the course and that they ventured off road it really isn't in anyway an autocross.
they advertised a course that had a start/stop box, slalom and a round about or 360 to do 2 donuts around, and no where did I see anything posted on their site about being off road, if I showed up in my current DD (06 CTS) to the advertised course I would be pissed as there is no mention of being off the pavement, those ruts are deep and they were into the dirt on the video. That was more a rally mini challenge then anything I have seen resembling an autocross. An autocross is a technical circuit on pavement, a winter autocross would have snow/ice on pavement adding an additional challange.
Also seeing as it is snow and a large group of people are standing within 10 feet of the car flying by at speed in the second video, I am just amazed at the lack of thought of safety at some events.
I actually wanted to go do this event, and looked into it and seeing these video's its nothing like what was advertised and i would have been very disappointed had I shown up and seen this
