Good progress. Reminds me of when I was ur age with my first 325e. Good luck.

I gotta ask though....what the hell did you do to your headlights? If you want the smoked hella look, just grab a set. They are not that expensive anymore.

Or since you seem to like to do it yourself, then simply pop them in the oven to remove the glass lenses. There are several write ups on how to do it. Plus I'm sure there's a guy on r3v that posted the templates he used for the cross hairs that go in the high beam. I would post the links but I am on my iPhone and don't have any of those links saved here. A quick search should bring something up.

Ps be carefully and patient. Zimmie (mike) cut his hand when he was helping me swap lenses.

Take care

Hmm so you're saying run no front plate? Like leave it in the glovebox? Then when I get pulled over tell him I need to mount it to get a warning? Hmm

As for the headlights, yeah that was just me messing around lol. Angry eyes on the lows and the X on the highs. It's all electrical tape so I can remove it and I am gonna remove the X but leave the angry eyes.

Thanks for feedback dudes, coils just need to arrive so I can dump this puppy!

I'd like to hear some thoughts on those coils. I've got my heart set on the Ground Control kit, but it's entirely unnecessary for the level of tracking that I will be doing. Going the route you're going would get me a turbo setup much quicker.

If you want "angry eyes" lol just get eyebrows or just make/get euro grills.

Either way good luck. I guess I missed in your thread what coils you ordered. Which ones?

Yeh, I just rode around with it in the back seat. I never got stopped, but I figured I'd just say it fell off and I hadn't put it back on yet.

However, I don't think you can use that excuse many times, I'm sure they write it down.

Megan's are eeeeeh.. they will go as low as you want them to, but the ride quality won't be anything to brag about, my buddy just got a set of megan coils for his toyota, its so low he literally bottoms out just driving along and hitting small bumps.. he likes it though.. so whatever .
