Aw, that's my old wheel from the E30 I have now. Take special care of it, it will bring you good luck.

Will do sir I sent you a pm also about other business.
So Im probably gonna buy the skid plate Woofer posted.. $180 plus shipping and a lifetime guarantee that if the pan breaks with it on they buy me a new one, cant go wrong there!
And Im ordering BMW badges, black roundels instead of the blue.
Question though, how low does the skid plate sit? I have like 1 maybe 2 inches of clearance from the oil pan to the ground, I dont want it to be dragging!

I haven't installed mine yet. I can let you know when I do. The rep Carlo told me that they use it on their track cars (e30) and they haven't had any problems.
As for the warranty, it only works if they install it......kinda sucks but it looks to be a good product.
Good luck!

I was gunna charge $200 for the luck, but I got it for free, so I figured that would be rude.

Pan is off, the oil pan gasket arrives tomorrow morning which is what is delaying me right now.
Next all I need to do is create a skid plate and Im set.

I should have told you earlier to lift the engine, I didn't know you had a hoist. That is the easiest way by far. Is the pan in yet? And no worries about the wheel, thanks for the wheels.

Yup pan is in and no leaks! Drove her last night.. Its hard to resist the urge to drive it. Im gonna drive it today then park it till I get the skid plate.
And I didn't have a hoist, I just unbolted the mount (only one mount had a nut on it o.O) then jacked up the engine from underneath by the A/C bracket or whatever, worked perfect.
Now I know for future pans!

BAHAH that's awesome. You should get some magnesium stick on strips so it sparks while dragging down the road lol.

Well, bad news. And good as well.
Good news is that my skid plate finally arrived. Bad news is that I cant really drive my car or put the plate on.
Bad news:
1) Thermostat is messed up, it keeps bouncing into the hot region when the car isnt overheating and thats causing the car to sputter now
2) Starter motor is toast, I have to push start my car to get it going..
3) Center support bearing is gone on the driveshaft.
And I cant put the skid plate on because guess what, stupid bolts for the steering rack snapped. This is getting ridiculous now, I dont have money for the repairs so I am looking for a job and parking this car for a month or two while I get some cash for a swap. I want everything out of it, no more stupid bolts lol. Everything will be replaced with working parts.
Im leaning towards the sr20 swap since I figure it would be a fun swap to do in it, and theres enough documentation to keep it fairly simple. Upgrading the turbos and everything of course, new fuel pump, injectors, the whole 9 yards.
I even had my interior and everything stripped for paint which isnt even happening this weekend
