acually read up some older threads i think im cutting off the stock muffler and add tips . sounds good and makes 5 to 10 hp more with no muffler.

that was my original plan. muffler delete and straight pipes with tips but i dont know about any hp gains, i just know it will sound a lot better

Less restrictions more gains . But Ya it could be 3 HP , but Its cheap and it works.

i bought a stock e39 540 , it came with 17s style 5 silver in coulor. ill be looking for some m5 wheels and do the k&n filter and ehaust thats all.

looking for a unique spoiler now, both trunk and roof....to me the lip spoiler is too subtle and I want something more pronounced. Maybe a ACS style

I have a sorta m3 look spoiler that fits your 540 its on my car now I'm taking it off and putting on the lip spoiler.
