im not sure on E39s but on e36s..if u paint the moulding..they look really weird.
plus , moulding paint can crack if you dont do them right .

also update: i got my shadowline trim and m tech rear bumper primed and ready to go...just need a person to paint it and replace the old bumper...got a quote from a place that will do it for 250

people were saying for the price they are pretty decent all things considered. The quality is not super but they supposedly work well enough for that price range and they hold up.

Is it wrong that I want to punch you?
The only red paint should ever be on the calipers, or if u want top do a time attack wheel or something.
Although, if agressive enough, red spoiler, red mirrors, red wheels, red kidneys can be made to look good. But it is hard to pull that look off.

what is the best option for that price range...jus to lower my car a little and have a nice and tight comfortable ride...not needed for track or racing

if u just got an m-tech bumper then i'm gona assume it came with moldings so now all u gota do is get new chromeless side moldings to match front and rear..
