need help for my e39 fog light cover

Hi,

the car i have is a 03 e39 540 with m package. 2 days ago the driver side fog light was hit by something on highway. the fog light cover was missing but fortunately the lamp dropped in the bumper. i need to order a new fog light cover. i checked realoem.com there are two different covers, both for m bumper. below are the part numbers:
05 Frame, fog lamp left 51117891421
05 Frame, fog lamp left only applies to alternator cooling 511124962

anyone knows the differences and which one i should order? thanks!

The 530 gets the one that applies to alternator cooling duct.
I have a brand new OEM driver side foglight cover for the 540.
