Nice car! What have you had to do to the engine to get 368 whp? I'd love to see the torque curve!

I highly doubt it has 368 to the wheels, maybe if it had a S62 motor in it it might have that much, according to the pics I don't see any real mods on the cars except for emplems, I had a 98 540ia, had a MarkD tune, full cat-back custom exhaust & hi-flow cats, it was putting down 270rwhp & 296rwtq.

another thing, why doesn't the OP know which model year 540 he has.

Sweet looking ride, jealous. Though the C/F cluster panel seems a little tacky. Something a Mercedes-Benz owner would do...

It think if you start with 282hp, and add a bunch of emblems at varying +hp levels, you can achieve 368 at the wheels after the power loss between the sticker and the ground. Unless of course there is a modded 4.8is motor under there.

Looks like the seller found an idiot to believe him

take it easy guys why so rough. I did in fact go head to head with a stock M5 and got the victory by a nose. Stage 3 engine software, stage 1 transmission software, custom half and half cold air, exhaust was reworked for more flow...some people hate the badges but to each is own. the body is 97, the engine is 2001. Pro tuned by brabus...spent a nice chunk of change on that..and i am the "sucker" who is selling it. 17k has gone into the car. People need to relax.
