a question for anyone who knows - full engines - is this going to raise any issues at the border - maybe in a crate or similar - anyone brought over a full engine ready to be plopped in?? any knowledge would be appreciated

Ok so no one knows anything about engines - I am assuming that everyone is interested only after I have succeeded in bringing them over - so be it and see you girls then

ive heard of engines being imported all the time, not entirely sure as to what the process or fees entail. but what i DO know, if you bring over a EURO s50 or s52, along with the euro 6 speed, im sure you wont have any trouble selling it.. not that i can afford it, but many people fantasize about that swap..
ill take a euro plate filler though if you find some

Try calling whatever port you will have your container shipped to and ask them? They would obviously know and would be able to give you specific answers.

that sounds good thank you for the guidance - I was just worried that maybe they would want it in the car in order to let it pass - I figured I would have to declare that it is only for parts = it cannot be legally put in a car whole - anyway the port would be the best route and I should get on that by next tuesday - will report my findings
