There's gunna be some more wicked cars rolling around Ottawa, that's for sure. We should organize a car meet, cross genre, but invite only. (no Civics allowed)
Does that mean I cant roll to the meet?

Def will take a vidya! I'm so excited to start it, it makes me cry...manly tears, with violence and sex in every drop.

If you know me, you'll know that I loathe Civics. (and usually their drivers as well) 'Cept for this one, off Stanceworks.com

Don't let that one lure you in. It's just trailer wheels on a tin can.

IT'S ALIVE!!

It started up yesterday for the first time! It ran for about 20 seconds before we noticed it was spewing 5L of oil on the floor.

Idiot me didn't put the VANOS line on the filter housing.

Filled it back up and fixed the problem, it started again and ran like a champ. (open headers)

Basically just tucking some wiring and sorting out the tranny and brakes, then driving.

Here's the interior:

Today my friend Simon and I cut Clint into tiny pieces.

First we cut off the roof, then the backseat and trunk, then the front past the firewall, then the floor out.

Much fooling around...

IT'S A VERT!

NEEDZ MOAR LOWZ...

And one of the big reasons the car was parted out in the first place. (more of the same on the drivers side)

OMF looks like clint eastwood was Rusty's White brotha....LOL...

I'll take something when I got out there this evening. I got a vid of the first start up, it's pretty funny when we start screaming to shut it off after the oil is noticed.

Sounds good man. The sound of the M50 is what keeps me on the fence about hopping my M20 up.

Got the trans brace from White325i on R3VLimited.com today, so still to do is...

1. Hook up the driveline and brace the tranny.
2. Put the handbrake together.
3. Put the rear brakes on.
4. Redo the brake line from the master to the rear T junction (it's got a hole)
5. FIND WHERE THE **** THE BOX WITH MY MAF AND INTAKE WENT
6. Weld up an exhaust.
