umnitza orion V2 are a tad pricey but worth it imo. had my set for almost 3 years and they are still running bright, strong, and no issues since day 1.

Get LED's, they're more reliable and won't set your car on fire. As far as who to buy from and why, my recommendation is to get a set of used V2's off a member here or one of the other forums. The reason is that you can get a set of very reliable V2's for ~$100 +/- shipped. Whereas, if you buy from ddm, their budget angel eyes after shipping, duties and brokerage fees will come to the same price range (ddm ships with ups). So you either get a new kia, or a used bmw...I'll let you decide.
After you get them installed, you will need someone to turn your drl's off (reprogram the lcm). Don't go to the dealer for this, there's a good few people here that have the software and hardware to do it for you for some nominal fee.

I got mine from Khoalty about two years ago almost... They just got a new version in, not sure how different they are.. Anyways i know umnitza is pretty good as they've got the predator orion V2's or whatever the newer version is, but there is a good chance that anything else other than what they have that is out there is coming from the same factory in different packaging. Khoalty has some REALLY good prices, and i've never had an issue with duties when coming across the border.. check it out. http://www.khoalty.com/bmw-e46/light...ngel-eyes.html

I have the Predators on my 330 and i love the look, they are so bright you can use them as DRL's...Only had some small issues after a year or so, where one or two of them would cut out. Should not be a problem if you dont drive the car all year round, or wash the engine bay...

I bought CCFL's from these guys - shipped from Quebec.

I like the softer output over led's.
I can turn off DRL's using bmw scanner 1.4. I am in Brampton.
