Thumbs up 1990 M3 Sportevo on ebay.de

This seemed a lil overpriced... (EUR 90,000)

ok, asking that much and having an inspection light on tells me one thing. I bet in the 25k he's been driving it has never once done an inspection.

The inspection light means nothing.. it just has to be reset.

Yeah it wouldn't have been that hard to reset... but theres a number of things wrong with this car anyways.

Lack of original wheels (at least put new emblems on, wtf)
Regular shift knob
Sidemarkers on backwards (could almost hint a guess that its been resprayed then)

The car has 25,000 km, highly doubt the body has been touched.
Dunno why the car has sidemarkers, never came like this from factory.

This car is so beautiful despite the flaws? Are those red belts oem? What wheels are those? ronal Ls's?

I like the adjustable fog light switch. Thats some good ingenuity on bmw's part.

Red belts are oem... E34 red belts had BMW Motorsport printed on them.

Look like E39 style 5's to me.

Not adjustable fog lights... adjustable headlights.

Normally I take what you say as being truth without actually reading it, but the shift knob is ok. I've got books that show the same knob on early models. Plastic with the boot separate. Just sayin'.

Some cars could have come with that sidemarker as per local regulations. FWIW, the E30 M3 convertible that BMW keeps in their collection has the side markers.

All Sport Evos came with suede steering wheels, shift knobs, and e-brake knobs.

On a Sport Evo somebody is asking $120,000 for it speaks volumes, even if it doesn't indicate anything at all mechanically. Likewise the missing stickers on the non-original wheels and the other details.

I'm not a stickler for originality like some, but if you can't pay attention to details like that where do you get off asking 120k?
