Yea but worth every second. I'm having way too much fun with the E36. The E30 is going to be my long term project. It needs quite a bit of work (respray, mechanical work) AND not to mention money, so don't hold your breath haha.

I decided to test fit this to make sure there will be no issues come spring time. Everything fits very well. The only issues are the water valve which needs to be relocated a couple inches down and the crank case vent hose needs to be extended a couple inches. I'm not sure if the CSL came with a longer crank case line but I'll look into that.

Edit: Just looked into the crank case vent line and the CSL version is indeed longer.

Here is an alternative, you can carefully cut the tube to remove the end connectors, connect 3/4 hose on both sides and you are good to go.

I thought you were going with a catch can setup.

Yeah I was going to add some length to it but I think I'll just order the CSL one. It's only 20 bucks and looks a lot cleaner. I'm going to get a catch can in the summer.. either the radium engineering one or have a custom one made up. I need you to show me how/where you relocated your water valve.. I'm not sure what to do since the hoses that connected to it are short and don't have much play in them.

I don't think you understand. here is a pic to give you an idea. You can use braided hose to give you a better look if you are after aesthetics. CSL vent hose will take forever to land.

Mike I know what you mean. I just wanted to run the oem setup for now until I got the catch can. I guess I will just extend the current one like you mentioned. No real point in wasting money if its going to be replaced in a few months. Can you explain how you relocated your water valve though? The airbox is pressing up against it so it needs to be moved... By the way, are you hinting at something with all these HPF pics???
