New M3 owner some questions :)

Hey guys just bought an 02 M3 6MT cabrio and have some stupid questions lol. I tried burning a CD mp3 and a normal audio cd and they both didn't work. When I put the cd in it says disc 6 and then only have track 1 and 2 which dont play anything. What gives!? Lol. Also how do I change the time on the clock? Buh I need to find an owners manual lol.

Thanks

For adjusting the time, turn the knob (right to increase and left to decrease) on the cluster. There are two of them, your going to be working with the RIGHT one. Left one is to set your kms to 0.
Press it to change from 12h clock to 24.

And about the CDs, I'm not sure. All/most of my burnt CDs worked, until my cd player broke... Now I just use the aux cable
Just remembered this from the top of my head and I'm quite il, so pardon moi if I'm wrong.

Welcome to the brotherhood! I guess after two years of being surrounded by modded BMWs the bug finally got to you huh.

For MP3 capability, it should be a late model 02 headunit. Does yours have the Aux/Mode button?

That doesn't make sense???
The E46's didn't have the ability to play MP3s til late 2004 til 2005.
If your Business CD part number ends in 429, 430, or 215 then it can play MP3s.
Everything else can't.
MP3 disc = MP3 files on the disk.
Normal CD = whatever you buy from HMV
Music CD = You use a program to convert the MP3s to a wave/cda file on your CD-R disc.

So unless you lucked out and bought a M3 with a MP3-capable Business CD, this post don't make sense?

:p
