New BMW (Used?)

New BMW to me but used it is labeled. Just wondering where to look for a good deal on a used BMW (Would love a 1 series) but a nice 3 series would be nice also. Looking to trade in our new car for something that might be a bit cheaper. Not to mention I miss the BMW feel I do love the MS3 but it's time for a BMW. Maybe someone have some hook-ups at local BMW dealerships? Just inquiring for some info! Thanks guys

I have a 135 and it is amazing, not sure how much cheaper it would be than a new MS3 though. What do those go for new?

If a Mazda 3 is too much, not sure a high end German car is the solution! Maybe a Kia/Hyundai (they are cheap and reliable after all)....

Yeh duder, I agree with Eurostyle. A 1-series is going to be even more $$$ then a Mazdaspeed 3, not to mention gas and maintainence. I would think that's a no-brainer.

If you want to get back into a BMW, perhaps a good condition E36 318i or an E46?

The Mazda is on a lease for you as well? Perhaps getting into something you can buy outright. I have a Ford Focus Wagon that I just picked up for $700. Rusty, but it's got winter driving and hauling to do.

The MS3 is about $500/mth and uses only premium. I put out a 1 series because there are some for around 30grand. The MS3 new is around 40grand. Don't think that Mazda makes just cheap cars, I though the same till I jumped into MS3, but my heart is with BMW.

Mazda is on finance. No leasing for me.

Forgot to mention, I'm not looking for new, like 2008 ballpark for year. Just wanted to clarify.

How much is the MS3 worth now? and how much do you have left on the financing?

My guess is that the MS3 has depreciated alot like most new cars, and unless you put down a pretty big down payment you probably owe more than the car is currently worth. So you'll take a hit getting rid of it. (Like most new cars)

I'm willing to be your about even or still upside down on the 3. However, I think it's still a car that's in demand.

CPO E90's can still be had for less than 30k.

I know what you mean about getting into another BMW. I'm the same but I'm looking for a garage queen/track slut...

The MS3 is still worth around 30k. We owe less then that I think. I'm not really sure, I'm mostly just delving into the information and to inform myself about how this process works and such. I'm on the fence. It would be nice to drive in a BMW again because I miss the feel. The MS3 does come fully loaded to the max and has the 7yr/160k warrenty bumper to bumper so that should help if there is a trade to be done.

How many KMs you got on it?

Of the 4 2010 MS3 for sale in Ontario, Highest price (lowest mileage 29k) is $23,975.
High mileage ones (going for 20k)

Unless you get lucky and you have really low KMs on it, I think you are going to have a hard time selling it for anything over $25k, if you trade it into a dealer, you'd probably get even less for it.

The car has under 15k on it. I also got mine at Carling Mazda But the dealership gave us beyond discounts on the car. We got what the dealership paid for the car + taxes so we saved almost $10k on it. Otherwise I don't think we would have bought the car new at all. Thinking it might be better to just hold onto to it for now ahaha... They were priced higher when we first bought them but that was when 2011 MS3 were new. I'm surprised by the pricing only because 2010 came with the most options then the 2011, and 2012 models.

Don't be too suprised, a car loses up to 1/2 it's value when it leave the dealership.

The depreciation of a car is very steep at the beginning.
