weekend night at nigara falls
just wondering, in december or maybe january, looking to spend a weekend for 2 down in niagara falls on a saturday night, been looking online at a few hotels in the area, but seeing if you guys have any suggustions you've been too, of a decent place, good pricing and a nice view of the falls preferably, but not a must... and on our canadian side as well,
and is there much to do in that area, if you don't gamble or go to clubs/bars, i know there's a strip with a few touristy stuff to do, but if you have any fun suggustions of things to see and do, like to know.
thanks

Me and my wife go almost every year in the winter time and we usually either go to Marriot Fallsview, or the doubletree. Double tree, you'll save a few bucks if you don't mind having no fallsview. Both hotels have been good to us for years. That's my input on this.

try embassy suites. i've gone in the summer and had good rates and it's a suite. includes a great breakfast as well.
fun things to do...niagara on the lake. aside from that all the cheesy tourist stuff is there.

I stayed at the Clarion 3 years ago, had a used frozen condom on my balcony.
I was comped vigorously after they finally believed it wasn't mine.

Meh, no biggie, just politely call the front desk, tell them the story. Management comes up, be calm and professional, he takes his gloves and kleenex, takes it out of the room silently and awkwardly.
We got all of our movies paid for, half price on the dinner we ate and the room rate.
