Info about scrapping my E36

Hey guys, Well as it says on my topic my 1994 325i sedan E36 just died today

my transmission is DONE. so i called a few scrappers and they offered me between 250-350bucks for it. i guess thats good better then nothing. But i upgraded my car like with M-tech2 bumpers side skirts everything all around even VMR rims on them 18"staggered..my question is if i was to part out my car will the scrappers still pay me the same ammount offered? or does the car have to be with all its stock parts?

I know me parting out the car will get me money.

sounds like scrap is back up. Most scrappers dont part out cars, they just rip them up for scrap. They'll pay you for weight.

I scapped one of my old honda's with no wheels on it. Scrap guy came, drove it onto a float, jacked it up, dropped it on cinderblocks, paid me and drove off.

so what do i do with the owership papers? do i give to them or do they sign that? cuz of course when i go renew my plates mto still has records of me having the car but i more likely wont since its gona be scrapped

If done the proper, legal way, they take the ownership (and you sign it), when they scrap the car they give it to the metal company that registers the car as scraped with the MTO. You keep the plate portion of the ownership for your next car, or refund of the time remaining on your sticker.

yea part it out and u will still get 200-300$ as long as it has 4 rims and tires to tow it and nothing is gonna fall out

How bad is the rest of the car? Is it just the tranny that's ****ed? Or is the body screwed too?

-Thanks so much for all the input guys.
-Yes ive decided to part out my car and sell all the parts ill make more money of course (rims itself is nearly 1k) and then ill get the scrapper to take it.
-Ya i wanna make sure its done the legal way i want no problems in the future of any kind.
-Its pretty bad....Overheating...Idle problems...RUSTED underneath a few rust holes ...any barrings,bushing n etc minors easy to fix. and of course tranny is in heaving.

-Here few pics of how it looks currently. plus i even still have the stock rims summers n winters n tires...all of it gona be up for SALE sooon!

I just have all the parts to fix it and keep it on the road for cheap. Would you consider selling as-is? How bad is the rust? Car looks pretty good (on iphone so maybe bigger pics will show more).

The rust is BAD trust me....as a bmw family member im not gona lie and say its k. to jack it up i need to find part of the frame or a strong metal. if i was to think about selling as at is right now ill be crazy n ask for around 4000 but im not really sure its just a random number in my head.

Get a used tranny from vendor or classifieds fix, keep trucking

Blk3 - im not sure at this moment but i will have my car for sale on the sale section soon and prices will be there. Right now im just working on gettin a 2002-2004 good honda small engine for the winter.

5style - ya i was thinking of doing that at one point but its very rusted underneath plus looking for one is gona cost me to send it ship it n get it installed n labour will rape me. so i rather just sell the car n even part out engine if anyone wants it since it runs amazing! great condition n well maintained.
