wind, mobilicity , and public mobile ...they are cheap and dirt cheap but this is true, their reception sucks big time... until i hear that those companies get better service, i'll stick with rogers as well.

but in the end when those companies DO get awsome reception, they will probably jack up their price for sure.

I have to agree, Rogers is by far the best when it comes to reception, the limitation of my device is most likely the only time I ever find myself without reception, that is usually in undergrounds or rec centres (where it is just low).

I wouldn't waste my time with no name companies until they are proven for a number of years and improve their coverage, etc. For 10-20$ month, hardly worth it to switch.

The one thing I hate about Rogers is the fact they lock you in with a contract, but really? I wouldn't have changed in the last 5 years anyway, so does it ultimately matter?

I havea friend still using the ORIGINAL Iphone with CALLING/pay as you go cards!! Like seriously? people still do that to save a buck?

I think Fido's unlimited plan is probably the best option for the GTA, IF you want an Iphone. They have a poor selection of BB's the last time I looked.

^^in ontario. Rogers has almost no coverage outside majour cities in saskatchewan and manitoba.

And if you're only staying in majour urban centres, there's no reason not to use AWS. Call quality is nearly as good, coverage is BETTER in their zones.

If you live and work in toronto and rarely leave toronto AWS coverage zones, you are pissing away money on the majour carriers.

And yes, unlocked iphones will work on AWS afaik, but not with 3g
