Where is the best place to do a valve adjustment on the e46 m3? I have herd that dealerships do not do valve adjustments but I could be wrong.

Your friends down south are idiots, thats all I gotta say.

How can the dealer not be able or not want to perform maintenance on any of the cars they sell?

Valve adjustment is a part of regular maintenance on E46 M3. The dealer would absolutely LOVE to do it on your car, because they'll be charging you 4 times as much as RMP for instance.

That said, go to Rocco.
