I really wish I knew about this sooner so I could take off from work earlier . Looks like you guys had some good fun though. Please show up to more of the other cruises too so I don't always feel like one of the only e30 guys there! It's bad enough that I only see another e30 in my area like once a year.

Yeah, the short notice sucked, but I'm a busy guy. I'll put a lot of thought and planning into a good long cruise for the spring, like a full tank of gas will be needed for sure. This meet was just thrown together for the sake of at least being able to say we tried. We did one at this time last year out in Mississauga, and we only had about 14 cars again.

So for the spring, I need to know when cars generally come out of storage, and when students get back from school, and I'll do it on a sunday so that work doesn't interfere as much. And we'll have at least a months notice.

I'm actually going to start planning it very soon so that there's no rush come April/May.

Busy guy!

Predicted date of spring cruise that allows more than 14 guys to get their e30s working and on the road: August 25th, 2012.

Isn't that alway the case? See how many E30's you can get running all at one time.

I've heard every excuse under the sun;

I have to work.
I have a school project due.
I can't get insurance.
My subframe is cracking.
My swap isn't done yet.
Its still in storage.
I have to do work on my other e30.
My fenders are rubbing too much.
I can't afford to fill my gas tank up.
It takes me 9 months to change a clutch.
Wish I had heard about this sooner.
I moved to Flin Flon.
I live in the east end and can't go past the DVP.

Am I wrong?

I just need to know when everyone is back from school most of all.

I can't imagine you giving someone a hard time because they moved to Flin Flon.... it's like a 2800km drive. That person would have to leave a day and a half before the meet and drive non-stop just to get to the meet on time...

Haha, don't worry, that's where Rob (nonlocal... posted above me) lives now, plus he doesn't even own an e30 any more..

Workin'. Fishing, drinkin', shootin' guns, impregnating the locals, shoveling snow, drivin' a truck. Y'know. Flin Flon stuff. But yea, workin'.

I have impregnated no locals, and I will stick by that story until the judge says otherwise.

The rest is pretty much true.
