control arms

would an e36 control arm fit onto an e30?

They probably will fit, but they use shittier joints. E46 arms are way too big and create a multitude of problems, only reasonable if you are making a track car. Stick with E30 arms.

I am surprised the Vorshlag guy didn't have any late E36 M3 control arms to try (although he says they did, the pictures certainly show they didn't).

It's been done, however the control arms are longer so they will push your wheels pretty far out

I'm pretty sure he is a drifter and that was/is his drift car... big surprise right? lol
It'll work, and as long as it's not a sloppy fit in the bushing it's not really a big deal. I think he did this before AKG came out with that bushing, he might have been able to turn down an insert for the treehouse racing E46 eyeball arm and put it in an E30 eyeball arm but he probably didn't think of that

sorry im a bit confused. it seems the e36 arm will fit, but with a bit of work done to them. or will they bolt on without any problems?
