Car is half apart, most parts are ready to go, others can be off in a day.

Richie,

What kind of work are we talking about on the M3 front end? minor touchups or dents, holes?

Do you know if the DTM side power mirrors will work on a e46?

I would not class the bumper as minor touch up, but totally usable and repairable

sub-frames are the same on all e36's

that being said they are both supposed to be picked up Saturday, will update if this doesn't happen

as for the mirrors I am not sure if e36 and e46 mirrors are interchangeable

Haven't 100% decided on chassis, have few in mind, but will be a BMW, gutted, two track seats/half caged, race suspension set up, low, and have at least 8cyl's. Looking forward to having a toy only built car again,
