Ok, well I'll give it a drive around the farm, and offer him $400 on the spot.

If nothing, I'll walk away.

Makes me feel shitty for how much I paid for my car. xD My strut tower is bad, both rockers are completely gone.

Not trying to write off the advice in this thread, of course you should heed it. That said, offer what you are willing to pay for the car, not what a bunch of internet hooligans who have never seen it are suggesting...

That said I would rather pay $3000-4000 for a solid car than $500-1500 for one that is going to last a season before I can see through the floor and have me shopping for another piece of shit.

I now rememeber this car, it's been for sale for quite sometime, and yes it's from the Ottawa region...hmmmmm

Wow .....nice euro bumpers/parts......and one of my favorite colors......I guess I may of been a little "hasty" in my first evaluation.......

Even...Herman da German is willing to admit he could have "perhaps" been wrong about something

Props to Rudy....for his "excellent eye" , superior knowledge, not to forget to mention, a GR8t memory

Nope, it's that color, but it's apparently an 1987, but has plastic bumpers and later model tails? I feel like it's a 1989-1991.

Ya, I don't think I want an iX. I'm looking for a car that's got a clean shell that I can swap all the goodies out of my car. I've got great everything except some rust that I don't like/don't want to deal with.

Naw, I'm heading back over tomorrow morning. Rewiring and reinsulating and redrywalling and repouring the floor of the shop tonight.

Gotta have somewhere to actually do work.

Nice, with that space why don't you just fix yours...there are not to many e30's out there that couldn't use some fresh panels and some quality welding?

Here's my POS "project"

Well the drivers floor is rusty, and the passanger floor is collapsed in from jacking it up.

The left front strut tower is got a hole you can see light through.

I'd need another car to drive while that is being worked on, otherwise I'll wait until the spring when the motorcycles are back on the road.

If I can get this car for what I want, then I'll take it, but if he says no then I'll walk away and go with that original plan.

Ok, I don't know much French, so I couldn't get much out of that site. Looks clean though, I'd love to go check it out when I head to Montreal for the M50.
