where do i find one and what brand part number do you have in your trunk ? ct tire doesn't carry one.

you can get one from Napa - carry Interstate. Or break your wallet and buy one from the dealer...lol You don't need a BMW specific battery from crappy tire. You can get one with the same cranking amps as long as the pos and neg face the same way.

Most batteries come from the same factory. They just slap a different sticker on them and drop them off at different places

Ya I'll take a raincheck on being the guinea pig for this hairbrained E30 scheme.
I'm heading over to Costco tomorrow, their Kirkland Signature stuff is usually just rebranded premium stuff. Plus it's like 1/2 the price. They've gotten great reviews.

Total Battery, right near costco, Max. They sell the direct fit long battery with the nubs at the bottom for the hold-down system and the vent tube in the right place, etc. It's about $100, same manufacturer as Interstate.

dump some oil down the pistons and wait for a day then do it again and again.
then manuely crank over the block with a torque bar and 22mm socket.
You might get it to unseize. as I have seen this done before...not with a M20 mind you but another domestic motor.
