So guess I'm going to fix it because I tried to sell it.
So i've tried to sell it (2001 320i w/dead autotranny), but i've only gotten some flaky lowballers - even at $1600 lol.
so name me some good shops to tow this black lemon too.
I keep hearing autovation in kanata? I know randy lentz runs a shop in carp, is it? but name me some other good bmw specific shops. is eurotrash a garage?
maybe if Philboski still has his 540/6speed I can buy that for $2K  & swap it in..

Honestly, a 320i is only worth about $4K or $5K safetied, so I don't think you could expect to get more than $1200-$1500 with a dead tranny in the trunk. Or a bad transmission either.
Randy is in Perth, Autovation's in Stittsville, both on Google maps. You should source a transmission yourself and drop both off, have them swap, safety the car and sell it for whatever you can get.

Dunn's BMW is on Wellington just down the street. All they do is BMW's and they have a decent website. Could try them as well.

Btw Steve: you mean Duss? If so, then yes, they do good work ... but it'll cost you the same as the dealer. Definitely not for the faint of wallet!

actually its already qc saftied & plated so i could drop a turbo'd 540 driveline in it..

246K. no accidents, clean title.
did the control arms, a tie rod, coolant jug beside rad & thermostat.
over the summer somehow Both front struts let go - free lowering
batteries dead, valve cover & or vanos seal leaks some oil, minor rust bubble on the rear drivers side door & wheel well arch.
The car runs, all windows & stuff work
