I thought this was a glass moon roof thread ...
Back on topic ... glass roof in my '89 325i touring ... it lets the sun shine in and I prefer it over the metal roof.

I think the price is only going to go up as less of these cars are available for parting out in Europe and states. Once this happens it's going to be tough to find as most will have them in their cars. And you'll probably pay a HUGE premium to have it.

Ya, but what point will that be? I'm starting to feel like most E30s that have managed to stay on the road til now are all either needing restoration or dismantling.

Considering most (all) metal sunroofs will rust eventually, I considered mine a permanent fix for this situation.
Also, given how rare they are, and how many people seem to want one, there will always be a market of some sort for a glass moon roof.

Thats how I justified buying mine. Even a replacelent roof costs a forture, so why not just buy something that looks cooler, and won't rust? Makes sense to me.
