I have a e91 with tan interior and walnut trim. So lot of soft colors. I really don't like the way the shift knob feels (kinda like plastic) and I want something heavier since I've heard it helps with the "notchy" feel of the shifter, which I posted about here (
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=580979). I also don't want something that looks all "boy racer" since I think my car looks pretty elegant on the inside. I saw a short shift package at BMW and the knob felt awesome, but I can't get a short shift because of my wife.
Any suggestions?
I'm considering these, but of course I can't tell the weight of them from the ad.
