E30 Cab update

Hey all, just a quick update.
I brought my 90 325ic into a local euro specialty body shop to get some paintwork done. Front rockers where suffering, and black rocker paint was faded. Anyhow, got the call this AM saying she's ready to go! A little more $ than I wanted to spend, but I know the work is quality.

I will post pix tomorrow.

I just had my appendix removed 3 days ago, so I can't work on my car and have two weeks off of work. What can I do next?

There's litterally nothing to do anymore aside from suspension (which I have, but can't install) and engine swap.

Anyhow...bored, looking forward to cruising with her rust free and looking niiiiice.

Hahah perhaps I should of been a little more concise...

In OEM form, there is nothing left to do. I'm not sinking $ into the m20 as its getting hauled out in the fall.

Suspension-wise I'm stuck as I can't bend over due to my stithes healing. Rear subframe and all suspension bushings in garage waiting for install.
Otherwise there is nothing. All electronics work (even cruise and AC which is super cold)

Perhaps just the rattles and squeaks from the roof when driving.

Its not *perfect* however pretty close to it. (Subjective to my opinion :-P)
Fibrenew was over a couple of weeks ago and restitched some seams on the rear seats.

To reiterate, its perfect (for me) as in its not a rusty e30 heap, with a millions issues. Right now it sits as a very good example of a 21y/o well kept car, with a bright future.

I'm not rushing any projects with this one..no cut corners.

after wrestling with 3 seized wheel bolts (never over tighten your bolts with air tools) I finally started working on my suspension.

in my haste and excitment, I went right ahead and stripped a rotor mounting screw, in which i'll need to drill out.

off to a GREAT start lol.

I gotta be more patient, and remember this isn't a brand new car...stuff is stiff, seized and grumpy.

take an over sized bit hammer in and turn. Before doing so get some heat on it. hit the flat section of the rotor with a hammer near the screw. then get the bit in and try it.

I'd give that a shot if I had access to flames/heat in my garage. I have nothing but air/hand tools. Torches aren't expensive I know...ill likely eventually end up aquiring one.

used a drill and ground off the tappered head off in about 10 minutes of fussing.
poped right off.

hopefully going to get the fronts on tonight after work

Everlast, i'm not out much with the BMW...it's pretty much a garage queen while it's usually in pieces lol

once this little sidetrack is done, and my new wheels are mounted (and fenders rolled) it'll be out for the rest of the summer till it's put away for it's engine work (still tossed up on m60, but leaning towards boost now...)
