The sponsors on this forumn seem to deal with these things a bunch, a few have pics of swaps on the forum... I can't suggest one as I'm to broke to pay someone to do mechanic work, but their not far from the GTA,

Anything is possible really, just make sure you don't want some serious cornering power, cause that big engine will add a lot of weight to the front. If they can fit a V12 in an e30 I'm sure your car will fit a V8, just try and do a lot of thinking as to what needs to happen so whoever you choose you can direct and give an idea of how you want the project to end up

it will work but I believe the transmission tunnel will need opening to allow for the engine to sit far enough back. I've seen this done back in 2000 for a track car.

I'd rethink the m60. That's a really expensive swap, and its going to throw your weight distribution way off.

If you want to drop a motor, i'd do s50 (already obd1) or s52 (needs to be converted to obd1). If you want even more power, go for a euro s50 (the early ones are OBD1 already also)

I just want gobs of torque. (300ftlbs+)

turbo'ing is always an option, but it never runs right.

1989 750=M70 engine...V12.
absolutely a mind f*ck of an' engine to work on (for backyard mechanics like myself) and would require even more work than a M60 swap.

like others have mentioned, anyswap bigger than a 2.5L and you're laughing...

if your engine is healthy and has a solid base Stage 0, look into boosting it?

as for peppyness...

perhaps in 1992 when new yeah lol

they're not really "straight line cars" by anymeans.

I'd really really really really recommend you do your research before you go for that kind of swap. Electronics alone would be nuts. Those engine have an ecu for each 6cyl bank, and that's just the beginning. For the same if not more power, not to mention lighter engine look at S50's.
