For what it's worth, I asked a consultant to professional racing teams (incl F1) about the BMW i6s, which he also has in racing trim, and specifically about the front dampener and ATI, this is what he said:
Thanks for posting that. I wish that guy who wrote that would comment in that S54 damper thread on BF.C, as some people think it is totally irrelivant (vorshlag guy). I was going to bring up the PTG cars using that fog light as a duct too on there, but figured nobody would believe or care.
PS pump is from A class merc or Porsche GT3 Cup car (same pump, made by LuK). Nice and easy to install ... 2 hoses for the fluid, and a +12 and GND for power. All the smarts are in the pump. Feels just like OE
Something to complain about? He's vying for the pole position and this guy who gets in the way of Touring class cars won't slow the hell down to give the guy a clean lap. If you saw the race, he got punted off by a Touring class VW, and it wasn't even the leading car.
yes but the video lol that's different that's the joys of racing if he wants a clean lap slow down and get some space
Yeah but this isn't some lapping day with newbies, these guys should all know what they're doing. If you're not in a competitive car, get out of the way. Instead, he gets in the way in the turns, then hammers it on the straights. Even most lappers know better than that. I wonder what the blue flag rules are during qualifying.
